Check Your Electronic Gifts Before You Give Them. Don’t Get Grinched!

If you are buying electronic gadgets for the holidays don’t buy them more than two weeks ahead of time and leave them in the box. When you finally give them as gifts they might not work and might be out of warranty. Broken power buttons, screens and keyboards are uncommon, but do happen.  Also you don’t want to start a computer only to find that it has a bad hard drive. Giving your gift a quick once over is good enough and then you put it back in the box.  Better still would be to fully set up a gift PC and then your giftee will immediately be able to use it when the open their present.

If you need help with purchasing or setting up a new pc or gadget call Bensman Home Computer Repair at 901-830-4362.

How to Find Anything On the Internet

Searching on the internet is easy, but sometimes we can’t find exactly what we’re looking for. This is because Google searching is a lot more complicated than most people think. If you are looking for something fairly specific and you know a little bit about it you can use Google’s advanced search to home in on exactly what you’re looking for. The slang term for  advanced Google searching is called dorking but it’s not just for nerds. Advanced Google searching isn’t complicated to do and it only takes a few minutes to learn.

This website can show you how to maximize your search results so that you can find exactly what you’re looking for with a lot less time searching:
