One of the ways that you can secure your computer’s data is by using a service like Carbonite to backup your data off site. Make Your PC Last Longer

It’s very important to protect your computer’s internal components by making sure that airflow to them is unobstructed. The vents on the side of your desktop should always be unobstructed by books or papers or a wall. If an obstruction is blocking your vents your computer’s internal components cannot get enough cold air running over them and will have their life span shortened. If you’re using a laptop the same thing is true. Just make sure to keep the vents which are on the bottom of the laptop free and unobstructed.
